What material are your targets made of?

Our targets are made from AR500 steel, which is highly durable and resistant to impacts from high-velocity rounds. This ensures longevity and safety when used properly.
What calibers can I shoot at these targets?

AR500 steel targets with a thickness of 3/8" are suitable for most pistol calibers and non-armor-piercing rifle rounds with velocities under 3,000 fps.
How far should I stand from the target?
  • Handguns: Minimum of 10-15 yards.
  • Rifles: At least 100 yards for non-armor-piercing rounds under 3,000 fps. Standing closer increases the risk of ricochets and target wear.
Can I use steel-core or armor-piercing ammo?

No. Steel-core, armor-piercing, or penetrating rounds can damage the target and pose safety risks.

Are these targets safe?

When used correctly at appropriate distances and with recommended ammo, our steel targets are safe. Always use proper safety gear and avoid using them in crowded or improperly designed ranges.
What’s the difference between AR500 nd AR550 steel?

AR550 steel is slightly harder than AR500, making it better for high-velocity or magnum calibers. Both are excellent for most shooting needs.
